What the page keeps, and what it does not
Macrolyzed is a free page about markets and the economy. Reading it needs no account. This is what it keeps when you do sign in, and what it keeps about every visit.
If you sign in
- Your email address, to send you a sign-in link and to know it is you next time. There is no password.
- Your name and your answers on the About you page, and the briefs written for you from them. The answers and the briefs are stored encrypted. They are sent to the model that writes your brief (Anthropic's Claude, which does not train on what it is sent) and to no one else, and are never shown to another reader. Your name is not sent to the model. The person who runs this page reads a sample of the briefs it writes, with the answers behind them, to check their quality; they are never shared.
- When you last visited, so the page writes a new brief for you only while you are still reading.
- A sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in for 90 days.
You can delete all of it at once, below. Nothing is sold, shared or used for advertising.
Every visit, signed in or not
- Visit counts by page, country, browser and device, through Cloudflare Web Analytics and a self-hosted copy of Umami. Neither uses cookies or follows you to other sites.
- What is clicked and read on the page (a headline, a chart, how far down you got), without anything that identifies you.
- The assistant’s questions are stored with a random visitor id in a cookie, to keep its daily limits and to read what readers ask. The question is sent to the model to answer; nothing from your account is.
- A quick check that you are a person (Cloudflare Turnstile) before the assistant answers.
What the page never has
Your accounts, balances, transactions or tax returns. The brief is general information written from public data and, if you choose, from your answers; it is not advice about your money.
Questions, or a request to delete something: use the feedback box in the assistant.
